Bosch Spares You From Poor Quailty
Bosch spares little time in producing products that are not made with quality craftsmanship. They produce a wide range of electronics, power tools, kitchen appliances, and spare parts from their various factories around the world.
Bosch began business back in 1886 in Germany, founded by a man named Robert Bosch; he invented the magneto ignition system with spark plug, a product that was instantly a success on the American market.
The magneto ignition system produced a reliable spark to ignite internal combustion engines. In 1906 Bosch’s presence in the US began to be felt in a successful campaign add and by 1912 the company had 3 branches opened across the country.
Robert Bosch was nothing if not tenacious. His struggle to retain his company during and after two World Wars is a study in persistence. During WWI the company that had originated in Germany was expropriated by the American government and sold to an investment group.
In 1921 after the war Robert Bosch founded a new company, the Robert Bosch Magneto Company Inc. In 1938 the new company and the one that was expropriated combined to form the ABMC.
Again in WWII his company was expropriated by US authorities. In 1953, after the war had died down, Bosch opened a new sales office in New York City. Not until 1983 was the Bosch Group able to retain rights to the expropriated trademark and able to use the Bosch name worldwide.
Many of the company’s current values can be traced back to Robert Bosch, knowing that environmental sustainability, economic use of resources, entrepreneurial goals, dynamic development, and community investment are all parts of what helps a company continue to grow and retain valuable customers and employees.
Bosch’s headquarters in Germany employ some 112,300 people. Although most of their factories and employees are based there, they are still a worldwide company with 25,000 employees in 80 locations in North America alone.
Throughout the world Bosch is in more than 50 countries employing over 281,000 people and distributing new products and parts throughout the world.
Bosch mostly focuses on automobile components. About 60% of their sales are based in automotive technology from anti-lock brake systems to car stereo systems making them a leader in certain specialized automotive fields.
In 2008 Bosch formed with SB LiMotive and Samsung SDI to introduce the 28.000 m2 lithium-ion battery cell manufacturing plant which is scheduled to begin hybrid vehicle production in 2012.
The most notable of their products in America is their brand name consumer goods and power tools. Available at most home improvement stores, brands like Dremel, RotoZip, and Skil are well known.
Recently Bosch won the EID Silver Award for their product the 12” Dual-Bevel Glide Miter Saw. The company also produces gardening products, drill bits, and saw blades.
A technology based corporation Bosch has reported growth of 27% in 2010, making 2010 its fastest growing year in its 125 year history. In 2011 Bosch celebrated its 125 year anniversary.
The Bosch logo represents a simple magneto armature and casing, the first component designed and produced by Robert Bosch when he began the business.
